Didn't Benteke get 20 in the league in 12/13 then? I assumed he had.

19
He got sent off with a couple of games to go too didn't he? Otherwise I think he'd have nabbed his 20th. I've starting repressing the previous 6 years but didn't he get done over by Chelseas dirty tactics and kicked out? And if I also remember he was looking very dangerous during the game.
I also seem to recall Sylla looking like Patrick Viera in that game. Although at this point, I may be experiencing delirium from a possible gas leak.

And 35 from Lansbury/Hourihane/Jack/Albert

15 from Baker/Chester/full-backs

1 from Johnstone (or whichever keeper)

I would rather Johnstone didn't score, as that would most likely mean we had been behind. I'll be very disappointed if we find ourselves behind at any point, or not leading by at least four with twenty minutes to go, in any game next season.

He obviously meant when we were 4 nil up and got a penalty for Johnstone to step up

Season 1959/60 three players reached 20 in the league. Hitchens 23, McParland 22, Thompson 20.
Season 1971/72 was the last time as far as I can tell that four players reached double figures in the league. Lochhead, Graydon, Anderson, and Vowden.

I think Johnstone will score a goal in last minutes with an incredible punt ;) from his goal to other goal to seal a last minutes winner against Small Heath Alliance at St Andrews ;)

On Facebook there is a push to get JK voted player of the month on Sky Sports, he's currently one or two percent behind Chris Woods. Some may wish to look it up and vote.

I remember that when we got promoted in 75 our last home game was vrs Sunderland. Every outfield player had scored that season and the players had arranged that if we got a penalty, and we were ahead, Jim Cumbes, the keeper, was going to take it. We were awarded a penalty, but, unfortunately the score was 0-0 and it was early in the game, so poor Jim never got his chance  :'(

Neither actually. I expect him to come charging out of goal to clear up a through ball and then dribble past 20 opposition players, some more than once obviously - just because he can - then flick it from behind over his head on the win cross it for himself and then run into the middle and do a Trevor Sinclair finish. In the first minute.

I expect this as a bare minimum next season.

Didn't a certain Peter Withe get 20 goals in the 1980/81 season?

He's the last player to achieve 20 league goals for us.
