I'm all for Villa subsidising away matches, but why choose a game which is one of the cheapest to attend for most of our fans?

Oh, and if anyone has any spares or references I'm after two or three (after Joe, as he asked first!).

I think I've got more chance of a ticket to the next Presidential Ball, dressed as Osama bin Laden, but it doesn't hurt to ask!

Maybe the size of the allocation uses up whatever is left of the money the club set aside for subsiding tickets?

Seems a strange choice. Small allocation and dirt cheap anyway.

I think the idea is that with such a small allocation, only those people who have been to loads of away games will have a chance to get tickets. The discount is kind of a 'thank you' from the club to those fans who have travelled away so often this season.

Exactly what I think. You'll only be at Burton if you've been to the vast majority of aways.

That's fair enough then. I suppose coming towards the end of the season is a good idea, too, on that basis.

A guy at the ticket office said 660 when I asked in January, therefore 920 for others.
