Any tips or fancies for the festival.. the only time I ever really bet on horses is at the festival....many happy days there but unfortunately because of work can't make it this year.

Last chance for the New One in the Champion Hurdle I think so I'll back him. Lots of wide open races this year, particularly the handicaps. I'll be there tomorrow, Thursday and Friday and the weather is set fair so good luck to everyone going.

Some of the pissheads were starting early yesterday; I had to avoid two blokes squaring up to each other in the middle of the road as I drove thro' Nam yesterday afternoon.

Already a lot busier this morning but I think that's people deciding to start work early in order that they can escape town before today's horse torturing finishes.

Just dropped one of the bosses off in town. Its already pretty chaotic.

OK for local taxis and those of us who know the side-roads but there's a lot of people driving round slowly looking a bit puzzled

I went yesterday, it just seems to get busier year by year. Also it was quite funny (as I was running late for the first race) that the touts had loads of unsold tickets on their hands.

Three of my colleagues went off to the races yesterday and we've not seen or heard from them since.

If anyone finds some accounting looking types lying in a gutter, give 'em a kick will you

Just caught a bit of the coverage on ITV, why does Mick Fitzgerald keep talking about arses?

And what does it mean when he said that he had is arse placed?

My betting success has been minimal recently, but £5 on Sizing John a team 9/1 was nice. My only Cheltenham bet this week.

I own a horse that is quite valuable. Although it is a rocking horse circa 1970 so you wouldn't particularly want to back it in a race.
