Surrey 51/1 at lunch. Patel brought on to replace Barker in the 11th over, which sums things up.

Stoneman on 46 already, which does not augur well. Clarke and Barker the bowlers.

Stoneman has his ton, which was the safest bet of the day and has at least substantially financially compensated my cricketing woes. Surrey 218/2.

I'm finding it quite refreshing having my sporting weekends ruined by Warwickshire rather than Villa.

No one has mentioned the KKR result from yesterday so, for anyone interested, Woakes and De Grandhomme took 3 for 6 and 3 for 4 respectively in bowling RCB out for 49, which is the lowest total ever in the IPL.

It led to a brilliant sulk from man-baby Kohli:

Quote
During the post-match presentation, Kohli revealed the reason behind his frustration. He complained that the sight screen was very small. "One guy got up as the bowler was charging towards me. It distracted me and that's the reason I got out,' he divulged.
