Last season 41 points was good enough to stay up in the championship, 42 in 14/15, 44 in 13/14, occasionally its very high as in 12/13 when 55 was needed,  that was when Wolves went straight through into League 1, a few points on the board in the next few games will stop me doing this kind of research.

I think this is one of the saddest most disheartening statements about what we have come to. On so many levels.

Think we'll be okay this season and possibly the next but by the third season down here we've had it.

Yes, that's the wage bill fire sale tipping point.

At least we'll be able to see if Agbonlahor has found his level.

I'm not so sure, I think that's akin to dropping an anchor over the Mariana trench.

I have a mate who is a Preston fan and he seemed to think 47 points was the magical figure.

I am sure we will scrape our way to 47 points but it is absolutely shameful that we are looking over our shoulders after spending a gazillion on new players - absolute garbage
36 is normally enough in the Premier League. Maybe that's why we're so shit at the moment, we've forgotten we're in the Championship and think we've got survival sewn up already.

I think we will be well away from the relegation places. Sadly well away from the play offs too!

Agree with Ads, no matter how much  we slag off  our underachievers, the quality in the squad is just too good to hit the bottom three.  Yes I know  all  past history saying  I am wrong but no club has ever gone down with such a half decent bunch  of players.

At the same time we are a  million miles away from sniffing the play offs this season.

QPR go above us tonight. We're now 17th. Burton look like picking up 3 points too putting them 2 points behind us.

If we lose to the barcodes and derby then we are right in it

We have got to go to rotherham, wigan, blackburn, burton so yur fate is in our own hands

As for us being too good to go down, dont believe it for a minute, 30 odd points off the top, 22 off the playoffs and 6 off the bottom 3 tells you we could get drawn in

The team is shit, get's supported exactly as any other team as crap as ours would do but without taking in to consideration that they are an embaressment to our name and we've watched numerous piss takers and shit donkeys during the last 7 years.

NO ONE and I mean no one in the football league has been subjected to the humiliating runs and defeats by their team that we as a fan base have.

What gets me is everyone that beats us is usually on a losing run themselves and promptly carry on losing once they've accounted for us. Happened most of last season and quite frequently in the last eight or so games.
