Oh and Bruce is amazing compared to O’Leary. He was a complete and utter...blankety blank.

It says something when the best thing today is Legion editing Risso's thread title properly. Shoddy work Mart.

Bruce out!!!!

Deary me, it was intentional. The 1s after the exclamation marks denoting such utter frustration that the keyboard is being hammered furiously.

Little better?

Perfect! 👍

🤬😡😱💩

Doesn’t have enough expletives!

I can be personal if you like. He is a useless, bullshitting, incapable, fat sack of shit. And he should have gone at the end of his first go when we finished 13th.

A liar. A charlatan. A self absorbed prick.

I could go on but you get the picture.

Is he off your Christmas card list now?

If anybody does plan to send him a Christmas card I think rather than send it to Villa Park or Bodymoor Heath, he is more likely to be spending Christmas at his villa in Portugal the way things are going.

praia da lose?

Albufeira Feirabouts.

Applauds.

Wherever he goes it will be less 'Scorchio' than it is for him at Villa Park at the moment.

It was a dreadful performance, absolutely awful.  Everyone was shit except for Chester.  If you can’t get players of that quality to even get the basics right then it’s a lost cause.  Time is up, we need a change and we need it now.

I thought Chester had a mare today by his standards. His distribution was all over the shop.
Chester was awful. Made several mistakes and went missing when that world class fearsome  goal scorer Fletcher headed in the winner.

His nerves must be fried. Aston Villa, continuing a long tradition of turning internatinal players into lumps of jelly

5 points off top, make the change now before its to late.

Given how we've played so far that's a minor miracle and indicates the division at the top end is far weaker than last season.

If we let things drift for another month difference will be up to 10 points or thereabouts.

There's 2 points difference between what the leaders had this time last season and now so not that much weaker, and you could say there is more overall quality in the league, but you're right about the gap in a month.

Leeds are good but Wolves were on another level to them last season.

Boro wil continue grinding out results but a low scoring team like them will always draw games.

Personally think West Brom have the best squad in this division. My main thing with them would be if their senior players would be motivated enough for this level.

After a slow start they're on a good run now so could well be top 2.

Brighton A
Wolves H
Brentford H

3 games out of a hundred that didn’t make you inwardly scream.

And we only won 1 of the 3

We have tried everything over the last few years.

Experience with a bit of personality - O'Neill.
Experienced, with good football philosophy - Houllier.
Young, hungry done well at smaller club, ready for the step up - Lambert.
Arrogant, foppish, gobshite with a bit of flair - Sherwood
Young, stylish, good football philosophy - Garde
Champions League winner, former championship manager of promoted team - Di Matteo
Promotion expert 'just the ticket' Nans Hair.

Where do we go next?!

We need someone who can get us playing on the front foot much more.

Bielsa has done that already at Leeds and he hardly speaks any English although in a funny way the players probably understand his style on the training pitch more than we do under SB.

Our defence is poor, there's no getting away from it and I don't think any new manager coming in will sufficently fix it until they can get new players in January.

We need to properly utilise our many good attacking options and score far more goals than we do. Think us winning high scores is the best formula to get us through next few months.

If we properly trained high tempo quick passing all week in training we would see much more of it on a Saturday at 3pm as it's repetition after all. We don't so we don't see evidence of it.

I was dead against it in the summer but now I think how could he be any worse?  Lampard seems to have sussed it after all.

A new manager will win games simply due to how good our attacking options are.

Currently they're being stifled by the present manager.
