I really think this has gone past the point of no return. He's lost the great majority of the fans. He lost me ages ago.

It's too late for him. It's just timing on behalf of the owners I expect. Waiting for the appropriate replacement makes sense.

I'm open to him staying.

Last season was the most we have been together on and off the pitch for at least eight years and possibly longer.

He brought good characters into the club (even if they were short-term deals) and we gave some sides a proper shoeing - even the best side in the division.

But we are hard to watch.  Which is tolerable if you're getting results. Less so when you don't win in six. Against modest opposition and with all the advantages we enjoy. If he can't see that, he's slower on the uptake than I thought.

He wants to keep his beak closed when it comes to the mental health of some of the support base and get on with the job he is paid a small fortune to do.

We are going to lose around 10 players again this summer with the loans added to Jedinak, Hutton, Whelan etc. We're are the plans that Bruce guards against this and allowing him to moan about it?

Apologies for long link. Key call out is we’re getting a sporting director in the next couple of weeks

Hmmmm, it also reads like Bruce still has big say in what’s going on at the club.
Are the new owners putting massive faith in him and being guided by his recommendations?

They’ve sacked his mates though.

Paying the penalty of not finding a centre half during the summer? I can't imagine Bruce was happy with them as he rightly has to carry the can.

Saying that, if Vinnie is right, and I've no reason to doubt him, it appears they already have somebody lined up who obviously wants his own team. You don't sack all your scouts unless you have a plan.

If there's any truth to the link with Eduardo Marcia, expect to see Mr Tinkerman, Claudio Ranieri arriving soon after.

For me the joy and relief of getting rid of Tony Xia has been replaced by the old fears for the club as the dead hands of Bruce's nihilistic approach to any kind of football forward thinking once again seem to be tightening their grip.

I doubt it, his role is Head of Senior Player Recruitment not DoF or Sporting Director.

Oh and they're big mates, going right back to their days at Valencia.
I still haven't found a kind word on Macia from Liverpool supporters.

Here’s the WM interview from Bruce. What a complete and utter twat.

https://twitter.com/sportbbcwm/status/1042384877746839558?s=21

The first clean sheet all season, against those giants of English football Rotherham, and all of a sudden Jedinak’s many errors in defence don’t count?
