I never want us to lose but if we don't get seven points out of the next nine I really think he'll be gone.

I think there's a good chance we might just about get 7 points out of the next 9 games.

Bruce has lost it. His handling of the defence is unforgivable. He pissed people off by letting Elphick go and  now he's let RDL leave on loan to further deplete the defensive numbers! No chance of promotion with this idiot in charge...
Yep , he has lost it, I get the impression that he is off eating drinking and generally fucking around with the odd update from the blokes at the training ground so he can waddle into the pre match press conference and read off a sheet who is and isn’t available.
There is no thought or intensity, just distancing self from any responsibility and continues to pick up his fat pay packet.

If we play like that again we won't win another game. It was dreadful.

My son, 43 years on the Holte, has never done it to a prevaricating football manager but he did it to a prevaricating Ed Miliband who answered every question with the same meaningless reply.  "How fast can a shark swim?"

Bruce is finished. The owners would do well to put us all out of our misery. We're fooked until January at least anyway with no defence to speak of.

Disappointing, but we need to get him gone.

The whole 'there or thereabouts' is just insulting.
With our squad and resources he should be saying nothing apart from 'automatics are our target and that's all we are focussing on'

His negative chat is so draining and uninspiring. I cannot imagine how this feels being a player. Hardly gee's you up for it.
I manage a sales team and if i said to them at a start of a quarter, our sales target is to be 'there or thereabouts' would be embarrassing

You're right yet he charms players into coming !! And some seem to love him.

Abrahams been fooled as he's expecting fun times !
I wonder what he said there in his personalbe manner
I think facts are he's a respected figure in English  football circles.
Its like a respect your elder type where he gets privilege or gets heard due to his achievements and experience.
Player and manager .

Also however Steve knows . He knows who he is. What he is
Steve Bruce though is like the emperor's new clothes . He knows his limitations but refuses to see them .

You are too generous to him footy I think.  He is not very bright.  He seeks to achieve with bluster what better managers have to do with intelligence.

Watching him yawning and stretching yesterday in his press conference, he reminded me of Onslow in Keeping Up Appearances.

And that is the problem as played out over the last two seasons and this season so far. He will get 7 from 9 and then 1 from 12 then back to 9 from 9 and we would be “there or there about”☹️

yep in a nutshell. I fully expect Bruce to keep us at least in touch with the play-off places and unless we don't i can't see the owners getting rid. And if he does do that bad, we've written-off another season basically. Not that we haven't anyway.

We're in the bottom half (as it stands) despite winning our first two league games.

We haven't played well for weeks.

Honestly he can't complain if he's dismissed Monday morning like Di Matteo was.
