Get ugly?  It's ugly already.  The way things sound, we'll get booing the first time we concede a corner, such is the way of things these days.

Mass punch ups in the Holte are highly likely i agree. It would probably be best for all if the grumblers stayed at home in that respect as the last thing we need this season is a negative atmosphere

Last thing we need is Bruce's negativity.

Twenty or thirty posters who complain constantly is not seeing things turn nasty.
Majority of supporters appreciate were in the shit and will support the team accordingly.

If the crown jewels have been sold, we still seem to be in some financial peril, the football is crap and we look to be in for a relegation scrap, then it will get ugly. The board take Peters, Bruce the same and frustration being taken out on the players. Where do you think people who are pissed off with it are going to demonstrate their anger?

I think you massively underestimate the concern and anger within our support if you think only 20 or 30 people on the internet are a bit miffed at the minute.

In the Bruce out thread on here hopefully. And nowhere near matchdays

Don't be so naive. You saw what happened in Lerner's last season and when Bruce's biffball wasn't delivering results in the last couple.

Away crowd never did anything but back Bruce.

That's your barometer of whether fans will turn.

And before we played at Barnsley. He hasn't lost everyone by any stretch of the imagination but to essentially put the anger that is bubbling under the surface down to a few internet cranks is well wide of the mark.

Anyway, fuck it. At least I am on holiday for 2 of our first 3 home games.

If we get off to a shit start it will turn ugly very quickly. There might not be a supporter base as patient as us but that doesn't mean that we will take more of this shit given the events of the past few weeks. Bruce is on his last legs. Start well and things will simmer down. If we don't it won't be pretty.

Not a sign of it at Boro a few days later.

Wembley isn't an away crowd.

I didn't hear very much anti-Bruce stuff on my travels either. I do have a feeling it will be different this season though if it doesn't go well.
