It's probably easier to cover how many we have lost or not scored in. I was likely at those!

Actually I have found the in and out form of this season as painful as the predictably dire stuff served up by McLeish, Lambert, Sherwood,  Garde, Blaçk, KMac and RDM.  As the very true saying has it - it is the hope that kills you.  This squad is so superior to anything we have had for years there is no way they should be being twatted by QPR and Bolton but they are.

I am not chucking my hand in, far from it but I am 80 in three weeks time.  I drive myself a minimum of 150 miles (Norwich) round trip, 210 miles VP games.  In life you will find whether a wife or husband, son, daughter, employer, employee, neighbour or friend, if you keep putting in more and more of yourself but getting back less and less you eventually accept the unequal struggle.

If we are in the Premiership next season regardless of who the manager is I shall make the effort to get to games home and away.  If we are in the Championship with Bruce in charge if there are games with Grealish, Green, O'Hare, Davis, RHM and Sulimani featuring I shall be there.  If it is perm any XI from Whelan, Jedinak, Lansbury, Hourihane, Hogan, McCormack, Agbonlahor, Taylor, Bree, DeLaet, Elmo, Bjarnasson and Richards I shall go and watch the team I sponsor, Cambridge City Ladies.  Ten minutes drive each way.

While I think we'll always be thereabouts if we stick with Bruce, we've seen how flaky we are with what is in many eyes the strongest squad in the division. I don't believe he'll ever have a better Aston Villa in the Championship and he's in danger of letting all that promise drain away. Every team has ups and downs, we accept that (a lesson being Wolves getting twatted at VP and then shrugging it off), but for a large part of the season we've been debating whether or not Bruce goes or stays and what conditions he needs to satisfy in the minds of supporters. If that team played like the sum of its parts, we'd be debating which match we'd be crowning the new champions instead. For me, Bruce hasn't done enough to convince overall, and the last chip he has is promotion, so if he doesn't achieve that, there's not much to recommend keeping him as manager.

Keep the faith lads, this international break has come at the right time to recharge the batteries for a final push. It's only a week since we twatted the best team at this level in years. If we go up its going to be via playoffs so think us supporters just need to be patient for the next while so we are in the playoff mix in good form and relatively injury free. UTV

There's no keeper so no starting 11 will be only those players.

The absolute minimum expectation going into this season was promotion. If we don't go up then there is no way that Bruce will deserve to keep his job.

And he knows that.
