It must be such a weight off his shoulders now. Being a professional he wanted to be at the game and while it pales by comparison to losing a loved one, he also knew the importance of the game. All credit to Bruce for turning this club around.

Take the 'out' off this thread title! Totally inappropriate now.

The queues at the catering outlets were ridiculous today - 20 minutes to get a drink.

Credit for Bruce to turn up today. Love the words from Calderwood after the game:

"It was great to see him here and it was a top performance for him.
It doesn't solve any of the issues but he can see what the players have done for him.
The squad is very proud that they've done it for him."

Or use one of the other threads devoted to the man.  This one is a good luck charm.  Changing the title only brings pain, penury and defeats to Barnsley and such like.

I'll be quite happy to see it well down the order due to lack of use, though.

Barnsley won't be hurting us again this season Me Gage, but I agree. This title is a lucky charm.

It's far too late to change the title.

Well done Steve, staff and the team.  Keep it up please.

We could so easily have done a Sunderland and turning round that downward spiral was a huge achievement, even if it wasn't pretty.  We're now seeing the fruits of that labour and I hope we will look back on this season as a great one to have followed the Villa.
