All you seem to hear in the media is that its madness to talk of changing after 7 games. Well the cold facts are that in this calendar year we have got 34 points from 29 games scoring 28 goals playing mostly dreadful football. That form extrapolates to 54 points after 46 games. Blackburn were relegated last year with 51 points.

He has had 2 transfer windows and a pre season and still doesn't know his best team or formation.

Just listened to his interview, he needs to go now as he has lost the plot and the crowd will start to turn on him now. I don't think the players are behind him either.

That'll be the elements of the media who see us as being a bit like Wolves or Sheffield Wednesday - i.e. kind of where we belong.

You can tell he worked at the sty, the use of undefinable stats to prove ones worth is a clear indicator.

I'd love someone in the media to have the nuts, and/or knowledge, to quiz him properly on his record since he arrived.

You know, I'm really not sure that the match going crowd have turned on him yet. Its not far away but neither is one of those cringy 'give us a wave' chants if we were to win a couple of games.

If anything, he's just being defensive. He has been honest enough after some games but the fact that he's said we've been poor too many times has understandably worn people down.

Honesty?  Or merely stating the blindingly bleeding obvious? It's a bit difficult to come out with bull when we can see certain things for ourselves, and as you say it gets a bit wearing.  Honesty would be to hear / see is that he acknowledges he's not doing well enough after a year in charge, the fans are justifiably concerned. it's his responsibility, he knows how to fix it and some evidence  that he is doing just that.  If I'd heard that I might lean towards giving him a bit more time.  But he's making out that everything is ok under the surface and that hysterical is the new fickle, with no evidence to support it.  For which he can do one.

His ramblings come across as though they have.

I only managed about 5 minutes - as it was too painful to watch any more. I actually found it pretty sad to see how damaged he's become after his time at VP, but them's the consequences of a tenure that's little short of an unmitigated failure. Hopefully the few million quid he has in his bank account will soften the blow of his inevitable exit.

We've ruined the careers of about six managers in a row!

Which is one of the reasons I'm sceptical that if we just get In whoever is the best person available this month and we'll definitely improve

Remember Lambert saying we were excellent when we were obviously rubbish, I always used to wonder why the media people didn't challange him on that. They just record it and put it out.

I don't really care what he says in the pressers

Just do it on the pitch

He wouldn't be talking shit in the press conferences if he was doing it on the pitch. Talk is cheap, and he's gone from the fans are great to us being the problem. No Steve. You're the problem.

Yeh I was saying to my brother and Risso, stop being hysterical and that those were minority boos at the weekend and Tuesday night
