I love that Bruce refers to the reaction as 'hysteria'. Sorry Steve but on what level is 7 points from 7 games acceptable. We've also scored 1 goal in three games. It's not hysteria, it's a fucking embarrassing return.

A point and a goal a game is pretty much what he has dished up throughout his time here. What do people think is going to change if we keep him on?

He has had two transfer windows, a summer and a truck load to spend. We still don't stick to one formation and player selection from one week to the next. There is nothing that suggests a winning run on the horizon. The football is painfully dull.

So how is he going to change that? By calling us hysterical and hoping Kodjia can nick us a few wins with creating goals for himself?

If he isn't trusted to turn it around immediately and get us promoted automatically then why bother keeping him around in the hope of some miraculous salvation?

It doesn't mean he is a shit or has nothing to offer in football anymore. But he is a long, long way from what we need at the moment.

I think if anything it's Bruce admitting he's worried about his job because he's done nothing of note since taking over. Very worried indeed.

This is exactly where I stand. And It's also the fact that after nearly a year there is no discernable progress. In fact we're going backwards.

I am surprised he's still here to be honest. Is Tony waiting for a defeat before sacking him?

I am trying to find out how long Wyness can keep Tone's trigger finger quiet for.

I did think he'd be canned today. Instead it seems all the blather about being unlucky last night is enough to keep him around. So that's the weekend ruined as well.

If we lose Saturday then I guess he is definitely for the chop. A draw might keep this fandango being danced for another week or two.

He bloody should be. It's been fucking atrocious. We have gone absolutely nowhere in a year.

Yep, definitely a sure sign that justified paranoia is setting in.
The other obvious one is the onset of speeded-up ageing.

I think we've become pretty invisible to everyone in the last few years outside of us poor lot wed to them for life.
