Not if but when we lose on Tuesday we will be 7+ points off the play offs and 10+ points off the top two by the middle of September. You can't defend that and you can't let it carry on because by mid October we'll be 12+ points off the play offs and our season will be over like last season.

I keep hearing this. I still don't see why a premier league manager would want to drop down a division

Any links etc?

I fear Tuesday will be another draw and, straight after, Bruce will still be here telling us how disappointed he is.

it seems that Xia, Round or Wyness lack the ability to chose a manager successfully

There weren't many complaints when Bruce took over

I hated the day he was appointed but I think most people thought he was more of a pragmatic choice to get us up quickly rather than being excited by it

its not happened and we need to move on it's best for all parties involved including Bruce

Bruce was the single outstanding gettable manager for the job of getting us straight back up, it may not have worked out but he was the right appointment at the time.
No not in this world. Maybe he was in Wyness's head. Bruce was and is a lazy appointment. He was unemployed and looking for a pension and we sucked it up.

I've never been a fan of Bruce nor did I want him as our manager.  But I could see the Board's logic in appointing him because of his promotion record in this division.  I don't know if the league has moved on, or if Bruce's best days are behind him,  of if he just managed to fluke his way up three times.  Whatever it is it's been obvious for a long time that he doesn't seem to know what to do to make us work as a team. It didn't work last season and it still isn't working. I think the board now need to acknowledge that fact and take some action.

I thought he was on a rolling contract so no pension there. I want to see him gone now but no doubt he will be given the Tuesday game, lose or draw that and he must go.

If Bruce had got his last promotion 10 years ago then I'd agree. But it's only been two years yet he's completely looking lost. By sharp contrast Colin Wanker is top. Figure that out.

I was still just about on Bruce's side until these last two games - his incompetence has been poor....the negativity of setting up with 3 Centre halves to negate a Bristol City side hardly full of genius was pathetic & today he must have been the only person in the ground to not see that Woods had so much space to run the game, he was a constant option to receive the ball & not once did he try putting someone near him :-(

His negativity borders on cowardice.

How often today did we have a bank of defenders and a bank of attackers with no one in the 30yds between them?

Increasingly it looks like we have a teachers pet in Elmo - there solely to head on goal kicks!

Can't we just get on with sacking him. Managers don't come back from where he is.  He's sitting in the departure lounge waiting for his ticket now.  We just need to stamp it and send him on his way before even the play offs are out if reach.

Huddersfield Town have more points in the Premier League in 3 less games than we have in the Championship. Fucking hell.

Sean Dyche has not spoken to Villa. Fact. Trust me on this. Friend of a friend. He spoke to Sunderland at one point but didn't fancy it. He has not spoken to us.

I like Dyche.  He's from my new neck of the woods, Kettering.
