famous for 3 things

M1 services
oldest iron bridge in daily use
home of Aston Martin

sorry about your bag if it pops up I'll let you know

Awful crash on the motorway there at the weekend, 8 dead.

Well i'm sorry if it goes against the grain but all the Bruce is the man to get us back into the premiership as you only have to look at his past record is bollocks.  Football has moved on and Bruce hasn't. Nice chap and all that but I don't want a nice chap who doesn't get us back into the premiership,  I just want a modern football manager who can take us back to where  we think we belong.....the answer to the manager we actually need is beyond me i'm afraid. ...it all depends on who we could get but in my opinion Mr nice Steve Bruce won't do it for us

Newport Pagnell has been in my mind of late with the Diana mawkishness of recent days.  Damon and I were working on the refurb of the motorway service area the day the Diana funeral passed through on the way to the Spencer estate.  We leaned on our shovels and watched the crowds throwing flowers onto the road below.  "How long before one of them throws herself under a car?" said my son with typical drollery.

That's all I remember about Newport Pagnell.

Sounds quite exciting that Brian. Wish I'd been there.

To be fair John, you made feelings known when he was appointed and were never going to give him a chance unlike even some of those who were underwhelmed by his appointment. I thought he was a good appointment at the time and have been underwhelmed by him so far but really hope he can sort things out.

I get the feeling you're enjoying his struggles.

all fair points Chris,
apart from enjoying Bruce's struggles,
I'm really not enjoying our predicament at the moment in fact it's the most difficult time I've ever had being a Villa fan with Bruce at the helm

Jesus, you've painted yourself into a dark corner there.

No a terrible hotel called Harben House. Took 30 minutes to find it and 30 seconds to be disappointed😥

That's terrible for you what with Bruce at the helm and living next door to an ex xerox building! Mind you that main drag further on doesn't look too bad.
