Bruce is like a Donald Trump of Aston Villa

for those that believe in him he can do no wrong, doesn't matter what he says or does he is the man to make Villa great again and all the critics are just full of fake news and should get behind him

for those who don't believe and never have it doesn't matter if we are top 6 or bottom 6 we don't want him,
we accept he has a record of promotions we just don't think he's ever built anything of worth, value, entertainment or long lasting to be good enough or even deserve the chance of being our manager
we have been so shit for years that even our own fans think Bruce is doing us a favour by coming, tricked into thinking that's the best we can do and be gratefull
the bar has been lowered so low even Steve Bruce's massive frame can get over it

just like Trump Bruce isn't going to make Villa great again, he's the wrong man at the wrong time, he'l do enough to keep his job for a while, a win or two here, a half decent performance there to keep the believers believing

eventually it will come to an end and we will realise the time, effort and money wasted in the big short fix experiment that ended in failure and just like America we will have to start all over again and hopefully choose someone better

Possibly on a par with Bill Howell's 'send us the bill' rant.

John is more than a little obsessed. His plan seems to be to say the same thing every day but to change the order of the words or trawl his thesaurus for new ones in an attempt to convince us that it is something different.

You took your time, the other brulievers were in like Flynn

Grow up.

you sounding like my Mum

on your obsessed point and me posting the same shit every day i have posted once on the 'Bruce out' thread in the last 6 days
I think you'll find your count to be far far higher, yet I'm The obsessed one

To be fair John, you made feelings known when he was appointed and were never going to give him a chance unlike even some of those who were underwhelmed by his appointment. I thought he was a good appointment at the time and have been underwhelmed by him so far but really hope he can sort things out.

I get the feeling you're enjoying his struggles.

A grown up struggles with other's people's opinions. I do hope Bruce sticks around, it's amusing if nothing else.

all fair points Chris,
apart from enjoying Bruce's struggles,
I'm really not enjoying our predicament at the moment in fact it's the most difficult time I've ever had being a Villa fan with Bruce at the helm

im always wary of responding to your posts Clampy because last time i had to apologise for hurting your feelings,

its really no good you getting involved with people you don't agree with like me if your a sensitive soul and end up crying like a baby to the mods
id rather jive with the posters who can give as good as they get

Then I saw his face, now I'm Bruliever
Not a trace, of doubt in my mind
I love spuds
I'm a Bruliever, I couldn't leave him if I tried…

I've never cried to any mods, I've no idea what you're talking about and you've never hurt my feelings at all. It would take more than some random bloke from Newport Pagnall to do that, but nice try anyway.
