As it stands we are 19th.

Beat Brentford and we will be 8th.

Are no other games taking place then?

Different managers, different approaches to post-match comments.

Norwich City fell to a 4-0 defeat at Millwall and head coach Daniel Farke admitted he was "embarrassed" after the game.
He told BBC Norfolk: "I'm really annoyed today.
"Conceding 12 goals in five games makes it impossible to win games.
"I won't complain about the quality of the players. It is up to me to improve them. I have to find solutions.
"I'm frustrated and I understand the fans being concerned. We have to improve."

Lose and they could go above us. Just saying.

A bit  repetitive as I remember from your posts earlier this year. No problem with being positive but it will nice for Bruce to back it up for us.

I repeated it because it's true. The fans at the games have generally been supportive and 'in my opinion' that's telling.
I agree with this, you come on here and Bruce appears to public enemy no 1, and apart from a couple of mutterings at Reading I haven't heard anyone want Bruce out at any of the games.

Just watched forest v Leeds. Things just got a whole lot more difficult. They've found a really good manager and they look formidable. He's picked up some quality players and he's got them playing with style. Alioski, I know who? looks a great player. Right now we're looking way off them, Cardiff and Wolves. Come on Steve you gotta stop with the rambling slightly mad interviews and get the team firing on all cylinders before it's too late.

Steve Bruce was having his name sung last night.

I've always thought there is a bit of detachment between online thinking, where the cogs never stop whirling and the overwhelming majority of match going fans.

I'll take a little bet on that with you, if you like? I'll even give you decent odds.

Leeds did look a cut above us today

They did draw their two home games 0-0 though, including against a Preston team that had ten men for half an hour. So it's a bit early to read too much  into things yet

Agreed. People on here are always having a pop at Gabby. But I often hear the Villa fans singing his name.

We need to realise that this forum is not always a true representative of the Villa faithful.

Yeah that's the thing isn't it? Consistency. I was well impressed with them today. We have the players in our squad to beat them and secure promotion  but it's all down to whether Bruce can complete the jigsaw puzzle in time.

4-4-2, and we all know the starting XI, it's not fkn rocket science.
