As I said a few days back, he needs to win 6-7 out of 10 in the league to show he can get us playing at promotion standard.  If he can he earns a reprieve unless he has another winless run like the 2 he's served up so far.  I think he can deliver the former but I don't trust him not to follow it up with the latter and I never will, runs of defeats have followed him all through his career as a manager which is why no one in the premier league will look at him.

First thing is he needs to win on Friday or as a minimum not lose.

As long as he sets up as he did on Saturday, I don't have a problem, that's down to the players, shirley.

If thew players aren't delivering the same sort of performance he needs to show he can use his bench to do something about it, whether that's friday or any game in the next month or so, failing to have a positive effect with his bench is probably the biggest problem I have with Bruce since he arrived.

He has a fantastic squad of players at his disposal and he absolutely has to keep the same team, I could waffle on forever, but he got it how most of us  wanted it ,so why change?  Certain names, fk,fk, fk, fk and fk would upset me slightly, let's see.

I'm pleased he got a pre-season and that he's still here. It's been a poor start but let's hope the confidence of the last two games gives us some momentum.

Friday is massive. A win there and it sets us up perfectly for September where we have some really easy games. Looking at the fixtures, if we can kick on from these last few days, I can see and expect us to win every game next month. If we go back to Bruce's last ten months on Friday he'll only have himself to blame. Let's hope a leopard can change his spots.

A win would be great but a draw wouldnt be the end of the world away from home.

Eventually we have to start winning away if we are to go up. We can't approach every away game with the Steve Bruce mindset that a draw will be alright.

It'll be respect the point, as it always is away from home.

Any more than that will depend on just how bad Brissol are.

I'm sure every manager's mindset away from home is to win the game but most of them are satisfied with a point if that's how it pans out.

With the resources at his disposal and the time he has been given, he should be going into every game expecting to win.

I'm sure Barcelona and Real Madrid expect to win every game as well but they don't.

They probably win more than half a dozen away games a season though. And if you consider the gulf in resources, those two clubs aren't a bad comparison considering the league we're in.

But mainly they do. When you win 29 out of 38 games and only lose 3 all season then yeah.
