Well done Bruce for 2x4 goals events however can someone explain the subbing strategy of removing a forward and bringing on a centre half as he did against Norwich and again last night? I thought last night it would have been better to do a straight Elphick/Sulliman swap to get the kid playing in the main role.

Suliman came in as CB, Bree went across to RB, De Laet went forward onto the wing and Adomah went up top with McCormack

Two games in a row he's switched to 3 at the back. He's obviously in the process of trying it out with a look to using it in games from the off. It could be that Samba was missing today because we'll start with 3 CBs on Friday.

With Bree and Taylor it wouldn't necessarily be the 5 at the back negative formation we fear.

That would be a terrible move, chopping to another formation when we've just put in the best league performance under Bruce.

Absolutely. We should go at the game in the same fashion as Saturday.  That's the template now so stick with it.

So he shouldn't try new tactics now?

Not when he's just discovered one that works after 10 months.

I can think of plenty of managers who could get a decent tune out of our squad, the jury is still out for me.

Jury should be out for all of us. He's definitely not proved he's the right man for the job

But I do think he's earned a reprieve from being called a "fucking dinosaur" for a bit
