There was a spell about 10 minutes before half time on Tuesday where we stopped being second to every ball in midfield and we started to play a bit higher up the pitch and we looked better for it. We showed in the first half against Hull that we can do that which is why it's frustrating but overall so far, we've been pretty piss poor and that's being kind.
Physical fitness, psychological resilience, team-cohesion and simple tactics - all are lacking. All four are fundamental requirements of any team, in any sport; at any level.
We have not got the basics right - yet again - and will suffer for it.
I genuinely think SB is a dead man walking becuase he is not sorting out the basics.

Why hasn't he gone? I suspect it means Wyness & Round putting their hands up and grovelling to Xia that they have got it wrong. Does China have the equivalent of Russian gulags? :)
On Dr X's Twitter feed (which I google to view) and in a thread on here it is mentioned that he has been reading Peter Drucker"s book on how Executives should operate a business. Had a quick look at that book online. He appears to operate by appointing people and then leave them to bring success without him interfering frequently. So perhaps our owner is thinking that just changing the team manager is not all that is required. From the sidelines I watch with interest.

I'd be happy if Wyness followed Bruce out the door this month. Another outdated, out-of-touch, slightly lazy 'football man' is the perception I'm getting of him. I'm prepared to give Round more time as he has shown a willingness to learn off the pitch and hasn't held his current post before.

Thought that as soon as I saw him.  Just looks like a "jobs for the boys" dinosaur. He's done fuck all to convince me otherwise considering standards across the club are slipping further.

You could get a blow job off Kaley Cuoco while somebody hands you a cheque for £68,000,000 and still find something to whinge about.

Personally I'm willing to test out whether I would, too.

I'm not hugely convinced by things so far, either.

It looks but but it's fairly meaningless after 3 games, a win for any of the teams in the bottom 6 this weekend and they will likely be in the top half. That said, another defeat and things will become desperate for him.

I remember when you wouldn't see a league table until after 5 games or so. However it's still remains that we are not very good at all.

It's not easy to look at the table and really feel that we're gonna take off and zoom up that table, due in the main to the style of football we play. I have no faith in Bruce at all.  This is a good squad but he's fucking it up, alongside Clemence.
