Our response to going behind was to concede another goal 7 minutes later..... what on earth is he on about?

Bruce has had long enough to implement any sort of ethos he wants - we look terrible. What's the point persisting? We don't play football.

"It was disappointing tonight because I didn't think we deserved to lose".

Sky, Talksport, Birmingham Mail, fans on phone ins...all say we were absolutely dreadful and Bruce saw it as he we didn't deserve to lose.

You do the math.

First of all, I'm normally absolutely not one for sacking managers.  You invest in them so you need to keep the faith if you believe they're the right man for the job until it becomes untenable - that's always been my standpoint.  However, we gave the likes of Lambert far too long, just hoping that things would turn for him.  The odd result here and there kept him in the job for way too long and we've never recovered from it.  That's why Bruce needs to go now.

It's not just the defeats (if that's not bad enough) it's the manner of performances which are nothing short of diabolical.  We have a transfer policy that appears to be creating a squad of more square pegs and paying top dollar for the privilege so much so that we are going to be in trouble with FFP if we dont get promoted - and for this - that's ineptitude of epic proportions from the Club.

I wonder where we'd be if Lerner and Fox had just given Garde a free hand and a bit of money in that January window and he'd stayed on - we'd have still got relegated but i'm pretty sure we wouldn't be in the mess we're in now.

So it's back to the drawing-board for the umpteenth time but we're fast running out of chances.  One more wrong move from Dr Tony and we'll be down here (or worse) for ages.

Keep him. He has proven pedigree and we all need to take a deep breathe and give him time. Get behind the lads.

Breathe - pronounced breethe - as in "Bruce is so bad I can't breathe."

Breath - pronounced breth - as in "Bruce is so bad I want to take my final breath".

Sorry, it's an error I see all the time and it gets right on my wick.

Expecting anything approaching literacy from the scobies/knackers/bluenoses proves beyond doubt tat you have Great Expectations, Mr. Bathhouse.

I'm more than willing to 'give him time' providing somebody can explain how we started with De Laet but have Hutton and Bree on the bench. So what's the thinking, De Laet starts but gets injured, who then is replaced by Hutton who after 10 minutes is also injured but thanks to our forward thinking manager, we still have Bree to cover from the bench? Seriously, WTF?

Possibly, but it does no harm to try and educate the poor bastards. They've lived through some joyless times.
