I thought posting on posters was banned? Ruins threads. We are all pissed off but can we leave this shit out?

I urge Xia to act sooner rather than later. Even if we appoint Pearson. He cannot possibly do worse than Bruce.

Posting on posters? Isn't that Villatalk?

Who cares? It's  infantile.

Let's just hope and pray that in the next 8 games, Bruce finds the key to make this bunch play as a team. I live in eternal hope.

According to the Times today we offered the job to David Wagner last season after we potted RDM and he turned us down.

Food for thought maybe thinking we can just click our fingers and in work managers will come running to camp in the North stand car park.
Well that was in the news in January and the reason Wagner turned us down was that he had given a commitment to Huddersfield  to stay till the end of the season and after that not leave unless it was to move to next level.  However we did not push it to test his resolve at £1.5  million or NE a year.

I'm not sure that eight games can be classed as 'eternity' Des.

Although the way we are playing it will probably feel like an eternity. ;)

I guess we judge a manager on
Team Selection
Tactics
Transfer activity
Game management

Can someone point out which of these Bruce has mastered with us?

Hopefully he can email it to the new manager.

Yes, you've been here long enough to know not to get involved. I'd have pulled John up at the time if i'd noticed it.

Well from my memory the vast majority on here wanted Bruce to be our manager, inexplicably as far as i was concerned, so why certain people are being singled out seems daft. Just goes to show, you should never ever listen to fans views on choosing a manager.

Team Selection, playing Hutton, Gabby, Bacuna = terrible idea and lacks respect for the fans?
Tactics, what tactics? Is Clemence the problem? Calderwood? Or all of them?
Transfer activity his best two players are Kodjia and Jedinak. He didn't sign them.
Game management, totally devoid in this department.

Can someone point out which of these Bruce has mastered with us? None of them.

Edited. Good points Chicago.

His transfers havent all been terrible. I still want him gone mind but he has brought in some decent players amongst the dross.

So I give him 1/2 a point out of 4 for that.

None of those matter 'at the end of the day'.

As a manager you live or die on results.

You can count me as one of those who wanted him (despite myself) given the position we were in at the time and the other available candidates.

But my opinions change when the evidence changes. Earnest appeals to 'get behind the manager' when he's clearly out of his depth don't cut it with me. If I look back at our demise over the past 5 years, one of the biggest contributing factors to that has been holding on too long and persisting with under performing managers-  simply hoping for the best in a dismal, half soaked approach.

I never expected BFR-style pass and move, but I at least thought Bruce could be vaguely effective at this level.
