He also says we may try another formation. Fucks sake man, that was what you had 30+ games last season to try, and a pre-season this. Fucking twat hasn't got a clue. When he doesn't even know how long he's been here then I don't think we can be expecting him to have a clue on something as complex as formation and tactics.
Crazy

He's got to go, no bones about it. But I have absolutely no confidence that the club will appoint the right manager. And to boot, we have tried the 'experienced' route, we have tried the 'foreign' route, we have tried the 'young and upcoming' route, and yet for 6/7 years now, we have been in terminal decline despite HUGE amounts of player turnover.

Its a deeply disturbing picture.

Are we sure Bruce isn't the Busker from Perry Barr under pass?  Unbelievable comment "we may try another formation"

He is appalling and I never thought I would see the day when he was our manager.Having said that the same people who appointed him will be selecting the next manager . That's the bit that worries me oh and yet another owner that hasn't a scooby do about running a football club.

A massive plus would be to play the ball on the ground. That's how we scored last week and made our chances. He should fine his defenders for starting an attack with a hopeful punt to our midget striker.
Hogan Gabby combination was stupidity and I don't think he tried it pre-season.

By my reckoning he's had 37 league games and 2 cup games as Villa manager. I still have no idea what his tactics are, how he expects us to win games beyond one of our expensive players doing a bit of individual magic. We look worse than we did the day he arrived and are playing the worst football week in week out i've seen from a Villa side in over 40 years.

a better formation would be the one without him in the dugout

Have a horrible feeling that John Terry will be player manager in a few games time.

Must surely have been at the back of his mind when he signed. Xia is exactly the sort of person who would give him that job.
Yes it will be lauded as winner, legend and now saviour!

No doubt his post match guff will be more of the same. Pointing out all the flaws we see, and then promptly doing fuck all at BH to fix them, same as it's been since October. 10 months of this shite under him and we look worse than the day he walked into the club.

On the BBC he says he can't remember a worse thrashing that he's had in the Championship.  Well allow me to jog your memory Steve, January this year, away at Brentford.  A similarly utterly inept performance and sound thrashing.  Twat.

Indeed.

He really is just making it up as he goes along now.  He needs putting out of his misery, today was even worse than anything Di Matteo served up.  We absolutely should have binned him off last season.

It's way deeper than Steve Bruce.

We sign players who have skills elsewhere, yet they completely disappear once they put a Villa shirt on.

They're suddenly earning wages they never had before, training in luxury at BMH.

Then the have no desire, no fitness and the skills desert them.

I don't know how on earth we can stop the rot.

It's not the formation, it's the person trying to implement it.
