You don't get promoted being boring, you have to earn it. With Bruce - no chance.

Bruce's biggest problem is he's here, and he has no idea how to manage a decent sized club. Everywhere he's been has been average, average, average. Game over, fuck off, get someone forward thinking in. Come onTony, you know, we know - sack him.

Genuine question: do you actually want him sacked now. If we sacked our manager after one game of the season would you think "yep, I'm now more confident of promotion this season"?

do you honestly think someone else could come in and over a period of 35 games in this league could any worse

He's done it before on more than one occasion though.

And Newcastle last season were hardly Barcelona either.
Lack of goals will be our downfall though. It needs to be sorted by the end of August.

We created the chances today though, which was a continuation from Brighton.

I know you weren't asking me, but it would depend on who we appointed. If we insisted on pursuing the prehistoric route (and I'd hope that we wouldn't) then Warnock or Allardyce would stand a much better chance.

But Bruce's record in this league is second to none isn't it?

With tinpot outfits with minimal expectation it's very good. He's way out of his depth here.

And who other than tinpot outfits have Warnock and co managed out of this league?

Bruce's post game comments were pathetic. Bigging up Villa for matching a club just out of the premier league. Hull won't be anywhere near getting promoted this season.

Obviously you don't sack a manager after one game of the season which they didn't even lose, obviously. But he definitely has to improve, and improve almost everything.

no shit. The only thing he's done since May is make us an older, even more glacial side. I like him as an individual, but he's never going to get us promoted.
