That's a good point KG. Just compare Bruce's football to MON's, for instance. Yes, MON was tactically inadequate, full of brutish lumps scratching their heads when faced with a defence, but at least they had the cajones to get on the ball and try to make the play. Now, they weren't all that good at doing it (hence rarely breaking 50% possession), but they did at least *try*. Under Bruce? It's surrender, meekness, abjection, panicked hoofing and dumb hope-for-the-bestery. It's not good enough at all.

The depressing thing is if he stays we know EXACTLY what will be dished up next season.  No anticipation, excitement or mystery.  Just down right criminally awful football.  Dr T  pull the trigger or you can do one as well.

Next season will be horrible. I think it's fair to say promotion by any means is very unlikely

I'd love Wagner or Jokanovic. Okay, so it would probably mean the team they're at now has flunked their audition in the playoffs but man, what it must be to enjoy watching your team play.

This isn't anywhere near good enough. We are piss poor and way less than the sum of our parts.

He reckons we've had a couple of bad games away from home. I'd say we've had a couple of good ones.

Why does he sign attack minded players, eg Hourihane and Lansbury, and set us up so defensively?

Hogan is another prime example.
Prolific at this level and yet has barely had a shot in the few games he played.
If we never get the ball anywhere near the box, and he is an 'in the box' type of player, how the fuck is he meant to deliver?
It seems to me that Bruce has all of the tools (!!) that are needed, but does not have the nouse to use them properly.

It seems that we will go into next season without a great deal of confidence, I'm sure the Doc is looking at the results with some serious   concerns. I'm not sure his patience will hold out. It seems that SB can't get this group of players to consistently play attacking football which is very worrying, I wonder if we are about to witness another managerial change, I don't particularly want it but I will understand if it happens.

I'd love Wagner or Jokanovic.
I'd throw Dean Smith into the mix...a manager that knows how to set up a team, and as a Villa fan I wouldn't think he'd accept any of the half arsed shit that trots around the pitch every week.

One more season of this crap and I'm probably gonna go full Harvey Keitel in Bad Lieutenant. I can't take much more.

We won't go up playing meekly. We need to play with some swagger and arrogance. I'm increasingly thinking Bruce can't do this.
