What I want to see now is another winning run until the end of the season, Newcastle have had results like this all season but then go on a winning run after them.

The first goal came because of Amavi and his unique awfulness.

And we never seem to recover from going a goal down.

Well we drew level and created enough chances of our own, but we gifted them all three goals. It doesn't matter what you do in a game, if you've got to score 3 just to take a point then you'll struggle.

Amavi and Bacuna ought to have played their last for us.

I think we are in for another season of struggle personally given the way he sets us up and tactics. It's just beyond frustrating that with players like Kodija, Hourihane, Lansbury, Chester, Bree, Jedinak, Hogan, Adomah, Grealish (who are more than decent at this level let's be honest) that we never set up to really play football and take it to the opposition. Frustrated, but not surprised, it's the Steve Bruce way, we knew that from day one. Have we ever played outstandingly well with any consistency since he's been here? It won't change.

I had a bet with my mate that Bruce won't be here come November. No matter who he sells or buys in the summer (and it won't be a lot) his tactics won't change, and I don't think they are the right one's for these players. I'd would rather have ridden it out with RDM, in hindsight.

You'd have rather have been in League 1 next season then.

I was really surprised we were playing so far inside our own half for no apparent reason after spending the opening minutes all over them.

its amazing how Bruce gets free pass while RDM is held accountable.

Di Matteo would have got us relegated? Brilliant stuff.

If we have a few bad results at the start of next season people will want him gone by October. His style of play won't help him out because it's absolutely dreadful. If we were watching exciting, attacking football you can let the odd bad result slide more than if you're watching boring, negative football.
To score more than two goals under him once is embarrassing and says everything about his mindset and style of play. Fulham for instance have done it twice in their last two games. We'll go there on Monday and try to keep it tight and nick a 1-0, why? We're safe and have nothing to play for, have a go and try to score a few goals with the millions of pounds worth of players we've signed.

Wed won one in 10, we're in the bottom 3. You're moaning about Bruce getting a free pass, which his not, because I highlight a very real possibility of a double dip under the Aloof One.

RDM was utter shite.

Bruce won 1 in 10 aswell, I'm not moaning in the slightest, just pointing out the relevance of the Bruce/Di Matteo argument.
