It's slow and it's not pretty but I like to think the good ship Aston Villa is FINALLY turning towards better times.

You can only beat what is in front of you, 3 wins and zero conceded is a massive confidence boost and about time too

4 points from the next two and then we really are progressing

Improving. Be interesting to see how we get on next couple of games against better opposition now we have a formation and a bit of confidence.

The next two games were always going to be a test with a full strength side out but with the injuries piling up a bit, i'll settle for a couple of draws to be honest and keeping an unbeaten run.

No way Clampy! I will settle for nothing less than another 6 points to make up for the shite we have endured so far. Furthermore, these overpaid wankers had better win every game from now until May. UTV!

I don't think a lot do right now, but three games ago it was hardly surprising a lot (myself included) wanted him gone. A week is a long time in football and I am pleased to see some encouraging signs at last. I like him as a man, but have been underwhelmed with his stewardship thus far.

End the season strongly with a known formation and start next season well and everyone will be behind him though.

Bruce has to sort out six years of shit. You don't achieve that in one season. I think he's done a good job so far. Bruce is a promotion expert, 4 teams promoted previously?

True. It rained fish in Singapore in 1861.

Can't think of any stranger incidents since, though.

Yeah but he also has a few relegations under his belt, so I think people were right to worry about how well he can handle a team on a downward spiral. Lets hope it doesn't happen again and we finish strong ready for a promotion next season.

He has finally found a formation that is somewhat coherent and is getting results.  Hopefully we can really build on these results over the next few weeks and finish the season strongly.  Bit of fine tuning in the summer rather than another rebuild and we'll hopefully be in good shape.
