There was a Chinese lad sitting directly behind Steve Round, Brian Little and Ian Taylor today. Not sure if he was family or someone Xia trusts. I'm sure if he asks Round and possibly even Sir Brian, he'd be told that was an encouraging performance. That comes within the sphere of job justification or outright arse covering. If Xia has one of his own advisors there, he might get a different description of that performance. Even if we do grind out enough points to stay up this year, if we've finished the season with one good performance under Bruce in 7/8 months, it would be hard to argue that we're on the sort of upward trajectory that will see us win 20+ football matches next season.
I reckon all you Bruce out lot look really, really silly tonight.
