Is SB angling for another job?

Karren Brady at the weekend said a couple of the former managers employed by her and the Porno dwarfs during their time in football were on the phone wanting the West Ham job.

Given they've employed 9 managers and some of them have been Zola, Avram Grant, Trevor Francis and Barry Fry....that narrows the field down a little bit.

At the same time, I wouldn't believe a word them lot said.

As Clampy said, fibsters the lot of 'em. Although wouldn't it be good to see Barry Fry in charge of the Ammers?.

As a board, we have sacked only five managers (including Slaven) of the nine we have worked with in that quarter of a century.

And as soon as the job became available, some of our past managers were straight on the phone asking for another chance to work with us.
I do hope Bruce is one of them and they would be very foolish not to go for him. A solid good man. A professionals choice been there done it it all type.

wouldn't that have been the greatest thing to see them crooksters saddled with Brucie and the fans would love his non stop festival football

think that would have been the best Christmas present for me the gift that would keep on giving on many levels

never mind, next time

I would certainly give him a glowing reference.

Why would Bruce leave Villa to go to a small two bit shit team like West Ham?

Yeah I think I would now. Annoying and tactically prehistoric as Bruce is moyes just looks like a 2 downtrodden gun for hire loping his way through any pay check coming now. To turn us down before RDM got the job and then go to Sunderland just seems the strangest of calls. He could have totally reinvented himself at Villa last summer. He will struggle at West Ham but they have  some decent players and should be good enough to scrape survival.

He's been told the restrictions he has to deal with during January, and knows he can not strengthen the squad adequately to avoid a bad run of results, that will see him out the door? :-\

With the criticism the porn dwarfs and their bike have been getting, its possibly just a defensive ruse to answer that criticism. However, it would not be the first time that a manager feels he has taken a club as far as he can under certain imposed restrictions, and then peddles his services elsewhere before things come to a head!

It really would not surprise me if it were true :o

Let’s face it, this would give him an extension to his career with a nice fat pay cheque, if Karen come calling he will be off like a shot.
He would probably galvanize them in the way that Allardyce did until the novelty wears off, but enough to stay up.

It was him that helped put those restrictions in place with big purchases.

That’s like choice between drowning or suffocation.

Haha. I'd prefer neither. Oh for an inspiring manager.

Are you trying to link Fat Sam and 'inspiring'? Hmmm.
