Can't say I blame him for having a dig back. He is human after all.
It's interesting that the criticism got him riled though, what did he think Villa fans would do?
Don't tell us Bruce, show us.

yep. makes a change from a lot of our managers who sort of walked meekly into the sack still praising the fans. If we get that sort of result off an annoyed Bruce then annoy away i say.

It's all very well retaliating, but he needs to make sure he keeps the results coming, as he hasn't got a lot of goodwill left in the tank.

Our away support were chanting his name. I guess its the internet abuse that has got him annoyed .

The bottom line is the supporters that travel are happy,he really should ignore the internet guff.

We've ruined the careers of about six managers in a row!

Which is one of the reasons I'm sceptical that if we just get In whoever is the best person available this month and we'll definitely improve

No we haven't, 6 managers have ruined their own careers by failing in the biggest job they'll ever have.
Agree totally, the club keep getting the wrong manager with the possible exception of Garde who was treated disgracefully.

Would you want the manager who was treated disgracefully back in charge tomorrow? I wouldn't. It hardly compares to the treatment of Tony Barton does it?
Agree about Barton, as for Garde we'll never know given the support that Bruce has had

The away supporters were happy because we won a game.  Absolutely nobody in the ground was happy after the goalless draw against Boro, and I bet that most of the fans there today at Barnsley were at the home game during the week.

We won easily but we really weren't great, we need to be far better before Bruce can start to have a dig at the fans.

Just wish he'd wait until we won 3-4 games in a row.

It's just one win and pressure will pile on if we don't go on a run now with three winnable games up next.

Yep this needs to be a prolonged sequence of improved results and performance.

Whatever Bruce.

I'd love you to prove me wrong, but tonight was delaying the inevitable fact that you're not up to this task.

Yeah I mean you can start being more cocky when we've won another 9 in a row Steve.

I think we were fortunate today. Barnsley have a few poor players but still came close a few times. One mistake, one mortimer tackle and the world changed but on such threads have seasons changed.

I desperately want us to do well and hope we go on a run.
My fear is that SB does just enough to limp on through the season.
