Sherwood is without doubt the biggest twat ever to set foot in Villa Park, including John Terry.

Nah. The guy was a chancer but come on. He never blamed the fans, never set us up to lose. Sherwood is way down the list in terms of dislike. Black is number 1 by some distance.

Which is pretty good going for a guy who had a free swing and nobody would blame him at all. But he managed to pull it off :)

You really need to meet the bloke in Upper Witton End block T2 row ? seat xx to get a good reference on twatishness.

I couldn't stand O'Leary, the only manager we've had that I've really disliked.

Remi Garde is not unemployed.  He is well respected in Europe and not the target of abuse and ridicule that was heaped on him here.
Brian  I don't remember fans giving Remi any stick but he was definitely abused by our management.

If he's worse than Sherwood then I'll let you keep that particular pleasure to yourself, my friend!

Yes. That man stopped me going to Villa Park and I will never forgive him for that.

Right there with you. I don't count him as a "recent manager" but if he is in the running then sure. He can join Black in my shit trophy winners circle. 8)

Mr Fickle, Bingo and Black are the only managers we've had that i've disliked as people. Pubehead joined the list when he left. Sherwood was a cock and I wanted him gone and yet I can't say I overly disliked him, apart from maybe the very tail end of his time here.

Billy McNeill has to be the all time low. Managing to relegate two clubs the size of Villa and Man City in the same season is one hell of an achievement.
The most astonishing thing was that Man City were bottom of the League and Ellis "poached" him.

The thing about Sherwood... he delivered one of the best memories as a Villa fan down at the semi final. We also played some pretty swashbuckling stuff, even for a limited time.

In a sea of awfulness, those brief and sadly fleeting moments stand out and shine brightly. A chancer and a charlatan for sure, but football is about enjoyment and we had a smidge of that which I'm grateful for.

O'Leary disrespected the fans fan more than Tim Sherwood unless I've missed something.

I can understand why Sherwood rubbed people up the wrong way but he certainly never badmouthed the fans while he was here which O'Leary and to a lesser degree Houllier did a few times in their tenures.

It's why I find it hard to dislike him despite what a twat he is.
