I just donít really understand the value in continuing, they must realise heís not doing a good job. Heís inevitably going to go, so stop wasting time.

If it is to be the October international break then I hope they're putting feelers out already because we wouldn't want the replacement process dragging on for three or four weeks after that.

Watching Derby playing Man Utd, I refuse to believe that Bruce is getting anything like the most out of our squad.

Lampard has got them playing some great stuff, pass & move with pace. He's also managed to do it in a short period of time & with several new players.

Proof that with the right management it can be achieved, Bruce is never going to change.

They're winning 2-1. This will never catch on.

I was thinking the same myself. One of those young managers who we shouldnít employ cos they lack experience and the job too big for them!!! And weíre stuck with Bruce. Bruce out now

I will still be at every home game however for the first time in ages Iím giving serious debate with not watching the game Friday night. Might just turn my phone off and comepletely ignore it for as long as possible.

It's a fair point but I think that the club is at the point where the next manager - aside from ticking all the right football boxes - should if possible be someone to energise the club, bring the enthusiasm back and raise hopes.  I'm not sure Dean Smith, for all the qualities he might have, is that man.  I'd find it underwhelming if we went for him.

Even the strongest supporters of Bruce are finally coming round.

The most damning thing for him is his regurgitating of his past successes

Unfortunately it will be the past that does for him as well as he clearly has demonstrated that he cannot change his approach or philosophy on the game - so to that extent - he is finished

Make it so

It will be his haphazard transfer approach this summer that will be his undoing.  The type of football he and managers like him play is heavily reliant on not conceding goals, so his failure to put together something resembling a solid defensive unit will be his downfall.
