Funny how he mentions the pen decision making a difference but completely ignores their wrongly disallowed goal. And he mentions, as usual, that he's building a new team. Fat twat.

And it's 7 games in, not 6. He's clueless.

Please, please would one journalist point out to him that if you have a sign full of loan players then you probably are going to have to replace them.  It'd be like me throwing a brick through my bedroom window then moaning when the wind and rain come in, and then having to replace the window pane.

Sack him, sack him now.

It was bordering on neglect not to bring in a centre half to replace Terry though, and that might do for him in the end.  I'd (just about) be happy with him to continue if he can remedy the CB issue in the next few weeks.

He's had weeks to sort it and hasn't.  Get another CB in now and we'll have another 4-5 weeks of excuses about waiting for the team to bond.  By that time we'll be 2 months into the season, fuck knows how far behind Leeds etc. and we'll be facing another season in this shit-tip of a division.

Is he still manager? Why? 4 draws out of 7 games gets you nowhere in this division. Only forest and scum have drawn more games and look where they are, particularly scum. Rescued today by a player he's discarded to the bench. Bruce out!!

so the six players

Goalkeeper  - so hes got two in
JT  -   big character    . would miss him of course as Bruce looks shit without him.
Snodgrass - big player in the team , replaced by Bolaise and El Ghazi , Id say that is not too bad
Grabban - replaced by Tammy , probably a better player
Axel - gone and back so forget that one
Onamah -  no big loss and replaced by McGinn, much better .

Whats Bruce's problem , his squad is good , yes defence is a bit fecked but thats his fault.

24 points from the last 17 league games in division 2 with the players we have is piss poor.

When we win the league this season and then go on to dominate the Premier League and win the FA Cup Hourihane's goal will be looked upon as Bruce's Howard Kendall/Adrian Heath/Oxford or Ferguson/Robins/Forest moment. But being serious, I think he knows how much pressure he is under (I think it might even have been the end if we had lost today) and I very much doubt if that pressure is helping him regarding decision making. As a manager who should be chasing wins and promotion he is becoming a manager who needs first and foremost to just make sure he doesn't lose.

I want the ****** gone. I wanted him gone the day they appointed him and I've wanted him gone everyday since.

Today is no different.

A couple of things, Bruce has never really faced pressure before.  He has managed tin pot clubs where their fans are happy with their lot.  At Villa, that's different and I think the pressure is telling.

Secondly,  I think the whole club, including the fans, needs a lift, a freshening up.  I think the change of Manager does exactly this.  There are no transfers to be done, so the new Manager can come in and stamp his mark on the coaching side and concentrate on getting them playing together, something that we know Steve Bruce doesn't do.

He's just said it again!! Utter drivel.

"We lost half the team that I built last year."
So you did you moron but how did Nuno last season and Bielsa this season managed to deliver results straight away?

Because it does not fit the narrative that it is never his fault.
