If we are going on a walk down memory lane can't we pick one of our more salubrious eras.

Didn't Sir Ferguson refer to him as the new Cantona? Probably just to fool us into buying the bleeder.

i remember his debut away at fulham and two blokes behind me chanting "djemba, djemba-djemba, djemba-djemba" to the tune of no limits by 2 unlimited.

didn't catch on.

I would wager that was AD and CD Villains.

I'm sure there was a fella in the Villa end in a Man Utd shirt with Djemba Djemba on the back. I can't have imagined that

I remember him coming on against Arsenal & I think it was his debut? I remember him giving the ball away numerous times before being booked for a shocking tackle. He was truly awful that day. *disclaimer* certain facts may be incorrect due to me being pissed through the entire nineties

Big disappointment.  Brian Green and I invited him to address the Schizophrenia Conference at Baden Baden.  All we got was two sick notes.  Just the same when we invited him to Wagga Wagga.

Does sound like the sort of thing we would sing.

Hey, he plays for Man. United, he must be really good! Then seeing him play, yes, yes, he's, he's, fucking worse than Gareth Farelly. Completely crap. Joins the same list as half the wasters Lambert and Sherwood signed over the last few years.

His best game at Villa Park was for Odense in the InterToto Cup. Can't remember him ever doing anything positive for us.

I remember him nearly running over my foot as he drove into the car park at the game in Odense. He really didn't seem to know where he was or what he was doing.
Incidentally, Olof Mellberg also nearly drove over my foot in the terminus shopping centre at Wylde Green. However anybody familiar with where I am talking about will know it's quite a tight squeeze in there.
