Un-attached

We seem to have a surfeit of mid-fielders and enough defenders but the attack looks vunerable ( in numbers) should we have some injuries to key forwards/ strikers. ok Gabby isn't what he used to be but he filla a roll ( well, actually lots of rolls, by the look of !)...but he will be out for about 6 weeks and I do believe we need extra cover.

A look at the currently unattached players   ( http://www.footballtransferleague.co.uk/football_club.aspx?football_club=Unattached )
...and you'll see that there are pretty slim pickings. TBH, the only forward  from that lot that I would like to see come in as cover, right now is Robbie Keane , even Georgios Samaras could be worth a shout. After all ,we are only talking about short term contracts.  Berbatov anyone ?....Any thoughts ?...........................Godzvilla!
p.s....Of course if RHM decided to sign up that would ease the situation a tad.

We should just use RHM. We are cutting our nose off to spite our face.

No, we are standing our ground against a very young player trying to dictate his position. That's how it should be. If he was that good, which he may be in time, many more sides than a reformed Glasgow Rangers team would be in for him. His options are limited and frankly he's wasting an opportunity in his career. He's been very poorly advised.

Edit: and confirmed that he has a new agent so hopefully he can sign and put this all behind him.

If he signs a new deal, I'd have RHM straight back in the squad. Until then, I wouldn't.

It sends out the wrong message.

I'm working on the basis that we aren't going to be heading for the play offs so am reasonably happy with Flabby and Davis as back up to Hogan and Kodjia - if RHM signs then reintroduce him into the squad

Until he does then I am sure we will cope fine without him...

With so many midfielders maybe we could do Barcelona and play without a striker

*Insert obvious comment about doing it each time Agbonlahor has started in the last couple of years*
