I'd imagine he'll be one of the better goalkeepers in the league and he has over fifty caps for Murica.

Hardly a shocking signing.

Anyway, on topic, go Whitecaps.

And what's with the crappy trend for new American teams to go with boring names like "United" or "FC"? They need to go back to exciting names like "Tea Men", "RailHawks" and "SatanLizards" (not all of them may be real nicknames).

I'm about to move to Chicago so I'll be following the Fire a bit. Especially as the company I work for is a major sponsor. Also MLS All Star game is in Chicago this year and rumour has it the game will be vs Real Madrid.
