A post on his Instagram 'story' yesterday stated "Training done. Roll on tomoz" - I wonder if he's been told he's playing a part tonight?

With McGinn out I'd like to see him given a chance.

I wonder if he'll play Friday. Wouldn't be that surprised to see him alongside barny and mcginn

The only bright spot for me yday. I'm probably reaching for a positive, but I thought he was really impressive when he came on

I'd definitely start him ahead of whelan now. I'm not sure if he should play the deeper role or hourihane should tho?

I was impressed.

He was moving the ball on with pace and accuracy, while it wasnt the easy ball either. Plus he's got some devilment about him.

He must start with McGinn as one of the two 8s at Wigan.

I agree, Iíd like to see a run in the side now and give him a chance. We certainly havenít seen the player we thought we were getting and think itís time we gave him a chance to reignite his career.

Lansbury and Davis did more in 20 mins then Whelan and Hogan had done in the previous 70. The only bright spot is that they took their chance when a genuine chance was there to be took.

I like Davis too. He's an awkward customer and the ball just sticks to him. He's ideal for midfield runners to get advanced of.

Pity he's not clinical in front of goal, but I like him and as you say, offers waaaaay more than Hogan.

Yep, I remember thinking he was a right twat when he came to Villa Park with Forest that first season down here. But yesterday, taking that yellow card for the team when Swansea were breaking, was exactly the sort of thing that would've made me think he was a twat if he was an opposition player but it was great because he's ours!

As long as he's fit, he definitely deserves a run in the side.

I could not make the game for health reasons yesterday.  Does he still have a stupid hairstyle? Not that it matters.

Short back and sides. In fact we have no daft haircuts at the club. Apart from BB and Tammy but the latter is buggering off.

Good.  It helps me imagine him playing.

My middle grandson has a Jack Grealish hairstyle.  It makes him look like Herman Munster.

I hope hes got fitter, whenever I have seen him play his performance deteriorates massively after 60 mins.

That's my worry too, but 60 minutes of Lansbury is better than 60 minutes of Whelan.
