Nadal and Federer would still beat Murray more often than not.

You want the "Tennis 2012" thread, mate.

Ha, my thoughts precisely. I love the idea of another Federer win, but Murray is world number one for a reason and now the greatest that to his chances of winning by a margin is out. His to lose now.

I agree, Murray or Sir Andy has improved massively over the last few years, he is the best for a good reason.

Now Mark, come on, there's no way we actually agree. Surely.

It does get better for me. No shirt sponsor so I'm assuming he is also an anti-capitalist, Marxist socialist who is going to bring about the revolution by agitating socio-political unrest amongst the poverty stricken underclass within...erm... suburban tennis clubs. Brill.

Nah, lost his deal with Nike.

Currently watching Federer vs Berdych, partly for glimpses of Berdych's stunning missus.

I'll wager that if Murray plays Federer or nadal he'll lose. probably quite easily.

Anyway, now that we've got an Englishman starting to win games we can stop pretending to care (for the Anglo-Saxons among us).

Federer looks likely to progress against Berdych.

He is the greatest tennis player I've ever seen, seems to effortlessly glide across the court, whereas Nadal, Murray and Djokovic always had to bust a gut to be great.

Peter, Nigel Farage appears to have hacked into your Heroes and Villains account.

😛

I'll happily take the wager though!

Murray will win the Aussie. Be good to get career grand slam polished off this year.
