Wolves v Aston Villa post match thread.
« on: January 14, 2017, 07:23:41 PM »
Another joke of an away performance....sad thing is as soon as I saw the line up I didn't expect much else.

McCormack is a move that just isn't going to work out....Gabby is Gabby. Why on earth did we let Gestede go without another striker ready to come in, strikes of complacency.

Our away performances are a massive issue still and we have no chance of top 6 with away form as poor as it is. Just 2 away wins all season is very poor and the performances are just as bad.

We need to get some players in this week. Next 6 games are actually decent for us but we have little chance of winning them with what we presently have.

Who was the Wolves keeper?

Never heard his name mentioned once.

Well that was as poor a performance I've seen this season and we've been rubbish on most.

No shots on target? Pathetic.

Amavi. Absolutely garbage.

No quality in the last third. Desperate for new signings.

It looks like Bruce is going to be building for next seasons promotion push.

Simple - sign 2 midfielders and a forward this week and we can still turn it around, don't and we are fucked.

Y'see, I was on the match thread and watched the game: I don't subscribe to the "all is shit" view. Today, there was plenty of effort and most of the defending was good.
What we lack is a couple of decent midfielders and a couple of strikers. The latter are in Africa; the former need to be acquired.

Yes, we could do with another right back and a CB but the priority is in midfield.

It's the most emotional game for a lot of us for a very long time, and we can't even manage a SHOT ON FUCKING TARGET??? They can all fuck off.

Shit. Again. Bruce has to start taking some of the blame here. There's no pattern to our play and the performances aren't improving

Green the only highlight for me

Does look really odd to have let gestede go. Not that I'm a fan but he's a bigger threat than gabby

Think we can give up on promotion this season and build for next

Not remotely good enough. Far too much going through Hutton when he can't deliver a ball in to save his life.
