I really enjoyed Newcastle last season. After all the shit it was good to have a bit of a laugh and somehow the team managed not to completely kill it by not losing.

I was only old enough to regularly go around 2005/06 so here's some of my favourites. Not necessarily the top atmospheres but maybe a few of these have been forgotten about now.

- West Brom FA Cup Quarter Final (2015)
- 2-1 vs West brom (The Monday night a few days before we played them in the quarter final, Benteke scored a penalty with one of the last kicks of the game)
- 6-1 vs Sunderland (Another special Monday night, Benteke and Matthew Lowton - of all people - were both unplayable)
- 1-0 vs Chelsea (Delph scored with his heel and Mourinho got sent off)
- 2-1 vs Leicester in the FA Cup (Lambert had been sacked and Sherwood was in the stands)
- 4-3 vs West Brom (2-0 down early on, 3-3 at HT)
- 1-0 vs Newcastle (in 2010 or 11, we were close to the drop but a James Collins header in front of the North Stand helped secure some safety)

Blues , Geddis and Shaw on the way to League Champions.
Liverpool , Mortimer on the way to Captaining the League  Champions.
Inter Milan , Kent Nielsen's screamer and Paul Birch's masterclass performance.

Inter Milan 1990
Tranmere 1993
Inter Milan 1994
Villa 3-2 Arsenal xmas 1998 was it or 99.....really thought we was going to win the league or go very very close that day

I honestly think Atletico would have topped the lot if we'd scored again, the roof would have come off. I was in the Upper North (usually Lower Holte but my Dad went to Madrid for the away leg and wasn't sure if he could afford the home game) as an 11 year old and it was rocking. I missed the Inter and Tranmere games, I started going in 94/95 but not regularly. Had my first season ticket in 95/96. Brilliant season to start going as I went to the Coca Cola Cup Final and FA Cup semi at Old Trafford.

Atletico
Blues 3-1 & 5-1
Albion FA Cup 2015. Second half was the loudest VP has been for years, including Blues games.
Blackburn 6-4
Best 'standard' league game I can recall, Sunderland 6-1.

Other highlights: Giving it large as a 14 year old in the new Trinity right next to the Coventry fans when we sent them down. Relegating Newcastle. Finding out Blues had gone down after beating Liverpool. A few under O'Neill; 2-0 v Chelsea, 4-1 Newcastle, 2-2 Arsenal Boxing Day.

All my favourites have already been mentioned.

So here's some more:

Arsenal league cup semi 96
QPR lc semi 77
Brighton oct 80 to go top of the league
Chester City 75 lc semi. first big game atmosphere

Not necessarily the biggest crowds but still memorable.

Bravo rougegorge, went to all those matches and agree some of the attendances weren't high but atmosphere was brilliant, thanks for the reminder, especially the Chester 2nd semi.

v Liverpool in 88 in the cup was full on rocking in the Holte, until they scored.
