What if we'd appointed Pulis
« on: December 14, 2016, 10:21:48 PM »
West Brom 7th in Prem.
Us 13th in Champ.
Maybe he knows what he's doing. The football couldn't be worse than last three games.

Allardyce last season would've been better. He could have kept us up, we'd then have fucked him off to England and then been cruising to the title under Howard Wilkinson.

It would have been a good appointment 2-3 years ago, as far as stabilising. But then whatever happens he'd leave and it would be hard for anyone to take the side on and progress. Granted Hughes did at Stoke and to an extent Pardew at Palace (though they've slipped back again) but the way we were set up under Lerner, any step forward would be met with two steps back. I think we had to go down. It seemed the only way we were going to get Lerner out and restart and we needed that kick in the bollocks.

This season? It wouldn't have been a popular choice but we'd closer to the top 2 under him. He'd have made sensible signings. Ugly signings, but he would know exactly what is required and go about doing it. But I think the same of Bruce and in retrospect, he should have been approached in the summer instead of RDM. Had Bruce had the summer we'd be 10 points better off already. Maybe more. Guys likes Pulis, Bruce and Allardyce aren't the most attractive propositions and the football can be utterly tortuous, but they've got the habit of pulling off results when needs be. Bruce is brilliant at going up from this division. The other two seemingly impervious to going down from the top flight, and I'd wager would piss this league, despite having been away from it for a few years (especially in Tiny Penis's case).

Assuming you're talking about him being hired a few weeks before we stupidly hired Sherwood, he'd probably have been sacked by now.

And we'd be going down this season rather than last season.

If we'd survived last season in the PL then I doubt if we'd have been relegated this season with Xia's financial backing.

I'd rather be as shit as we currently are than ever have that baseball cap wearing twat nozzle anywhere near B6 other than the odd occasion he's lucky enough to be in the away dugout.

That being said, had we survived, would Randy have sold the club? I think the only reason we finally got a sale is because Randy dropped his price accordingly when we went down.

If we'd survived last season, we wouldn't have been sold for a massively reduced price and we'd never even have heard of Tony Xia.

Damn, I never thought about that.

Pulis renders the sport pointless. His teams play a 'style' that looks like he's trying to end all interest people might have in watching football. Every time I watch one of his teams it reminds me that I'm going to die. I can handle being shit, but not that.

I am sure he would have fckued  Randy over like he did Palace.
Let's face it, Lerner was not the sharpest tool in the box when it came to Managerial compensation.
The cap wearing twat would have had a field day and got away with it.

Could we make this a serious of what if appointments ... also to do this with... Mark  Hughes 400 premier league matches.  Davy Moyes and Bob Bradley.
I think We could add guardiola just to see the suggestion of Hutton playing as a number 10 , Westy as centre back .  Grealish would flourish that's for sure !
