« on: December 09, 2016, 02:50:42 PM »
just had an email from the club saying that they are opening the Upper Trinity for the Burton game on boxing day because it is approaching a sell out!!!

previous season ticket holders up there have until next Wednesday to claim their old seats

Very disappointed that you choose to broadcast this news rather than letting me know via PM so that I can storm the Guess the Crowd League.

What a game to get the best part of 40,000! Possibly the smallest club we've ever played in the league.

Not surprised - Missus booked us tickets for boxing day middle of last week and not many left in the other tiers.
Witton upper was only place at the time where they had any significant spares

Hopefully a good performance and resounding win for the fans who are going for a Boxing Day piss up or because they've had tickets for Christmas. That would hopefully get the bug back for them and see them return.

Knowing Villa though we'll lose 0-1 and be back to 30,000 against Leeds.

You never know, West Mids Travel may even put a bus on.  Only one, mind you.

We've already played Small Heath in front of larger crowds.

We've missed the tutting and face-palms from the upper balcony. Welcome back!

That lot will have to dig out their ties again now.
