Is anyone else having this problem with Seatwave?
« on: December 01, 2016, 04:04:45 PM »
I am trying to sell mine and my dad's seats on seatwave for the boxing day match - we normally don't go on that day because of Christmas arrangements.

Previously, our tickets have always sold quickly on Viagogo, but this year, they aren't moving on Seatwave.

So I went onto the site to see what buyers see and have found that is impossible to click on our block (Doug Ellis, P6) because of a stupid pop-up that tells you to "hurry, buy soon".

So if buyer's want to specifically look at our block, they can't.

I've tried this in chrome and internet explorer.

Just tried this and can select P6 - 1 seat available in EE, 2 seats in LL.

I get the same problem on a few blocks when using the laptop, may well not be an issue for those using a phone etc.

I'm using a laptop and not getting a problem on any block.

Weird.

B6, B3, P7, P6, M1 have seats for sale for Burton but I can't click on any of them because of the pop up. I can click on a tiny corner of R7.

Checked Wigan and can click P7 for that one, but not B2, B6, C2.

Using Windows 10 and Chrome.

Just tried this and can select P6 - 1 seat available in EE, 2 seats in LL.

Same here on my Windoze 10 Laptop using Firefox.

The annoying popup appears, but it does not stop me clicking on the Block and seeing the available tickets.

Edit.
Just tried the same process with Chrome and the problem outlined in the OP occurs.

Microsludge Edge doesn't work either.

What a farce.

I'm using Chrome with windows 7, still no problems. I get the pop ups on every block but there is ample space to click on the block to select tickets.

Thanks everyone - at least it sounds like some people might be able to buy my tickets.

I've just rang seatwave and the girl on the phone got the same problem as me. She said she'd tell the relevant department but I'll believe it when I see it.
