Have Leeds changed where the away fans sit then?

When they were in the prem I remember it was in the corner as Southgate ran towards that spot as he always seemed to score up there for some reason. And you got behind the goal for cup games.

I'm not sure where you're based CBD but if you can get up to Tamworth it's usually about £8.50 at selected times to get up to Chesterfield so that can save you a decent amount.

That's pretty good. I will investigate with the ticket splitting website if I get tickets.

Dunno if mentioned before but the club were going to subsidise tickets for this game but after a meeting with fan groups the £5 subsidy has been switched to the Norwich game as it's a crap journey and a midweek game.

And QPR is expected to be £39 and £34.

Is that upper and lower or that ridiculous middle and wings pricing of just the upper?

We'll be in the main stand on the right hand side as you look at the pitch.

Newcastle have got 2700 for their game there, £37. So we can probably expect the same.

Leeds would have taken more.

with double that outside

£37 for a televised Championship game (although we charge £35 aswell). Modern football is toss.

And we'll still sell out. Prices aren't going to fall if people keep paying them.

So maybe the answer is to apply a cap on away ticket prices of £30. Football has truly gone mental when fans are expected to stump up more money to watch their team play Leeds (and QPR, I'll bet) in 2nd division than to see them play at Stanford Bridge or Old Trafford in the Premier League

I paid only £3.00 more to watch Man City v Barcelona last week.  Ticket prices are mental. Not just for football though.  Tickets for music gigs are the same.  Radiohead are charging £82.00 for their latest tour. While the demand is there, people will pay it.
I can't talk though as I whilst I can afford it I'll do it.

What's in it for the club though?  Like it or not, football is a business these days - if a club can sell 3,000 tickets at £37 or 3,000 at £30 why would they choose the latter?

The only way prices will come down is if people stop going.  Given average attendances across the entire country are pretty much the highest they've ever been it's unlikely to happen soon.  And as Holte L2 says, it's not just football, every other form of entertainment will charge as much as they think they can get away with.

Playing Devils Advocate, why is that relevant?  For most people the enjoyment they get from football is derived from whether their team wins or not.  As was discussed in some depth on the 'Would it be more fun...' thread, what's more enjoyable, paying £30 to see us get thrashed at home by Liverpool or paying £30 to see us stuff Rotherham?
