I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one awake at 2am worrying about the Villa.

Pretty spot on Dave, although who else would choose instead of Steve Bruce?

Thank you particularly Dave for the second paragraph that spells out clearly why so many of us willingly accept Steve Bruce but with a heavy heart that it must be so.

Pressed back would sum up the second half. And the new 'golden era' is more like a golden shower at the moment.

On the upside at least Richards won't be available on Tuesday. I was left shaking my head in total disbelief (wondering how he has ever made it and had a career as a professional footballer) on Saturday. Like you said Dave others were poor and that can't be ignored (just look across the line to our other full back) but Jeezus! Do we know who Bruce's number 2 is going to be yet? I think this is going to be crucial and a pivotal decision regarding Bruce's reign. All I've seen so far is people linked with it who can't or won't be able to do it e.g. Phelan, Phil Neville, Steve Agnew.

Press reset - again.

A good description of many fans' feelings towards the appointment of Bruce I think. When you've got shit to shovel, best employ a spade.

Spot on as always Dave,

Do you think Hutton or Baccunna at right back is a safer option - not sure what you guys think but the central partnership is also starting to give me real concerns.

Tomorrow's game on TV ?  - Have I missed something here ?
