I think they were 86 and 96 mins.

If I remember rightly there were only meant to be 4 added minutes.

Pretty sure there was no announcement about time added on back then. It was just up to the ref. And most reports i've read since then say it could have been more than the 7 mins that were added.

You're probably right on that. Still haven't recovered from it, probably the closest I'll come to seeing us win the league.

I still remember those twat Coventry fans cheering like they had won the League after it had come through that Manure had got a injury time/next match winner. I knew from that day that we had let it slip. Que sera

All this talk of that 90th + 'play 'till you score' goal that Bruce got can't hide the fact that the title was Villa's to lose and lose it they did. A toothless performance at home to Cov, where Ron thought it would be a great idea to bring back a crocked Dailan in place of the on-fire Dwight Yorke, followed by a disastrous first half at Blackburn as part of a 3 game losing streak at the end of the season that saw ManU winning by 10 clear points.

The tide had turned by the Blackburn game. If they hadn't been allowed to carry on for ever against Wednesday, we would've gone into that game in an entirely different mindset, and you never know what might have happened.

I'm not joking, I always thought Ron was a scouser and he'd picked up the accent by virtue of being in the midlands for a long time. You think you know someone....

I thought he was a scouser too. Isn't he?

Did you ask who is Ron Atkinson's choice for Villa hot seat ? I think we need someone in Big Ron mould for manager.

Born in Liverpool, but moved to birmingham due to his father working at BSA

Born in Acanthus Road, Liverpool 13 on March 18, 1939.

"My parents lived in the Midlands. My mother, Anne, was from Liverpool and my dad, Fred, was from Birmingham. But mum wanted me to be born in Liverpool, so she went up to the house of one of my aunties to have me."

And then she and Little Ron went back to Brum.

My favourite Villa team was the team that could have won the inaugural Premier League trophy in 1993. Thanks for the fantastic football Ron.

However whilst Leicester won the League last season with Marc Albrighton in their team we would have been still relegated if he had been here in our team.

I'm reading his book at the moment. It's interesting,  but he still loves himself!

That team were great to watch. Villa Park buzzed a lot in 1990s despite occasional relegation daliance.
