Its a blow but we've coped with his absence pretty well so far, he's not scored so far has he?

A pen against Bolton.

5 months is a worst case scenario isn't it? Players these days usually back much quicker. I think he'll be playing again in March but it's obvious we need another striker in January.

We're having some seriously bad luck with strikers and injuries. How far off are RHM and even Gabby for a return to the squad?

We will struggle for goals if the team are to rely on Gabby for them. Luckily the midfield are chipping in with quite a few at the moment.

I backed Gabby to be Championship top scorer this season, which probably says more about by betting prowess than his aptitude.

I think RHM is playing back for the U23 this week

Begs the question whether Bruce brought him back too soon, in an attempt to save his job at the time, bearing in mind he broke down in the match vs scum ahead of the internationals with Ivory coast.

He's got 1 in 2 at the moment.

A game 6 weeks after Barnsley.

He did it shooting as he went over funny. Nothing to do with Bruce.

Hepburn tweeted recently that he had only returned to training. I'd love him to get a go but a loan-signing for up front in January is probably inevitable. A pity that Grabban fella is stuck at Sunderland.

In those 6 weeks, he didn't look the same player that got 19 goals last season when he was 100% fit.

So in that case, we shouldn't have played him?

Reckon they'll pay out?
