Played some good through balls second half which Tammy failed to capitalise on.If he can just eliminate his brain farts he'll be an asset.

He was terrible in comparison to Messi, Ronaldo and Mbappe but i'm otherwise struggling to associate the word 'terrible' with Kodjia in any game since he's been here including last night. He would be better down the middle though.

He was very sloppy at times. But he’s also someone the opposing defenders cannot take for granted because he has it in him to be lethal. I think as they get fitter and more attuned to what the new manager and staff want of them both Jimmy and Bolasie will be very effective. Bolasie looked really exciting at times last night.

Me too, thought he done well last night, he does make the wrong decisions at times, but can also do things others can't. Good to see him fit again.

I thought he seemed to be working on ‘being unselfish’ but it wasn’t quite coming off for him. Good to see him trying though.

He isn't a team player and never will be but I do agree he does offer a degree of the unpredictability about him but can't see him as a long term player under Smith who relies very much on a team ethic.

I agree however he needs to improve his alertness to win the second ball by putting defenders under pressure. Too often he reacts a fraction of a second late.

That's what it looked like to me too. We all have off-days. His was pretty off though, to be fair.

I thought he was decent overall

That through ball to Tammy was terrible though.  It was bouncing when it should have been rolled for him to hit first time

Really? It was infront of him which was most important thing to do (so many times you'd see a player pass behind the striker). Tammy seemed to want to take a touch for some reason instead of just tapping it into the net.

I think the reason Tammy wanted to take a touch was because it was bobbled across at shin height. He still should have scored, but it was a poor ball when an easy one was on. It was typical of Kodjia's performance, his decision-making and his touch were way off all night. He's a really frustrating player.

I think he is another one where you can see the influence of the new management team. It didn’t always come off but he was ar least trying to be a team player rather than do everything himself.
