An alternative would be London  Midland  to Liverpool and local train to either Southport and bus (20 mins) or Ormskirk and get on the West Lancs Line to Preston  in probably the worst train I have ever travelled  on.

Quick question? Do the tickets go on general sale from 4.00pm? The wording on the website is unclear.

Damn that online system is confusing!  Had to look up Mum's reference number so I could book another ticket for her.  Anyway two booked for me!  Should be quite an atmosphere.  Looking forward to it and hopeing for a decent display and a win.

First-time purchaser here. Curious as to what and how the 'areas' work when purchasing? Would expect to have seen block numbers or something? Just went for Best Available, but wondered what the difference in the areas was?

If you look at the pics of the Bill Shankly Kop -link below - there seems go be 7 sections in the seating.

Bought my ticket - not sure where I'm sat, as it was bought online....looking forward to it though!

If the train looks over the top then why not try Ecker and North Walsall Lions, Goughy and Premier or even Hatchett's Sutton lot.

They'll pick a good pub too.

I'd be surprised if Barnsley sells out. If it doesn't then fair enough.
