James Chester - signed
« on: August 11, 2016, 02:27:05 PM »
Doing the rounds now that we have had a bid accepted. What do we think.  He did a good job for Hull and is a ball playing defender.  Could be decent at this level.

Happy with this, looked very good in the euros and the shocking performance when Baker went off last night makes it pretty clear that we need another centre half so that Richards never gets time there again.

Yeah, happy with this, well thought of, started at Man United. Someone say he is a Villa fan?

Elphick and Chester, not a bad duo I wouldn't have thought. Looks a good player to me.

Dave I've been literally sweating since you locked my premature move (a common occurrence before the divorce).  I'm glad I'm back in the fold.

Solid player at this level, just what we need. I hope it happens.

That's the thing, we just need the right partner for Elphick who I'm convinced is going to be 'the business'. Hopefully Chester has the attributes to compliment him.

Chuffed with this - hope this means we never see Richards in the centre of defence ever again (unless it for the opposition).
